A superb tasting crispy okra. Lots of potential to pesonalise this dish. Simple yet effective. Indian cusine or any cusine. Try as an appetizer or a snack or even serve as an entree with other food.

1/2 kilo okra
250 gms. gram flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. red chilli powder
1/2 tsp. trumeric
1 cup water
Oil for deep frying - Preperation
Lets start with a basic fried okra
Take half a kilo of okra, wash it and then dry it with a cloth.
Split it into 4 and spread them out in a tray.
Take 250 grams of gram flour and sprinkle it on the split okra.
Add 1 tsp. of salt, half a tsp of red chilly powder and a pinch of turmeric.
Mix them together with a little water to get a gooey texture.
Heat oil in deep pan and deep fry the okra little at a time.
After frying don’t forget to soak the oil from the okra.
Optionally sprinkle some mango powder for a subtle tangy flavour.
Serve hot.
