Baked Fish (Greek Style)

A mediterranean (Greek) quick easy healthy seafood recipe. This one is  easy to preapre, has great flavour and is healthy so you don’t have to feel guilty eating it.

Serves 6

  • Ingredients
    1. 6 fish slices (4” thick)
    2. 4 medium onions
    3. 5 tomatoes
    4. 2 garlic flakes (minced)
    5. 1/2 cup butter
    6. 3 tsp. lemon juice
    7. 1 tsp. salt
    8. 1 tsp. white pepper
    9. 1/3 cup water
    10. 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Preperation
    Fry the garlic flakes with the onion slices in olive oil till they are slightly golden.
    Keep aside.
    Rub 3/4 tsp. salt and lemon juice on the fish.
    Melt the butter in a baking dish  and arrange the fish  in it; keep a some space between the slices.
    Spread fried onion and tomato slices over the fish and in between.
    Sprinkle 1/4 tsp. of salt and pour water on it.
    Bake it at (375° F gas mark 5-6) till the fish is tender.
    Serve hot.

Grilled Stuffed Pears

This is a strong flavoured dessert with a great aroma.

Serves 2

  • Ingredients
    1 Pear
    2 Tbsp. Chopped Dry Fruits
    1 Tsp. Cinnamon Powder
    2 Tbsp. Butter
    2 Tbsp. Brown
    3 Tbsp. Apple Juice
    2 Cloves
    Ice cream or whipped cream
  • Preparation
    Cut the Pear into half.
    Scoop out the midle portion.
    Mix all the ingredients and stuff in the scooped portion.
    Coat with leftover juices and grill on the griddle.
    Serve hot with your choice of ice cream or whipped cream.
